I originally set out with the intention of capturing some great photos of Ellie and Ben – but what I came away with was like stepping into a fairytale! The beauty that I see, and feel. Whew! Together, they had so much harmony, and it really elevated this shoot beyond anything I could have originally imagined. <3

For our location, we chose the north shore of Maui, where a lush, grassy pasture perched on the cliffside awaited us. The vast field was an incredible backdrop, and gave such a nice contrast to the ocean.

As Ben and Ellie danced beneath the ever-changing sky, clouds rolled by and provided the softest beautiful light! It just goes to show you don’t always need lots of sun for pretty light.

I loved the playful little moments unfolding as they walked hand in hand, not paying attention to the raindrops that began to fall. Honestly, it felt like a scene from a romantic movie!

Within this incredible picturesque setting, Ellie and Ben felt at home with one another. It made it so fun and easy to be able to photograph them being flirtatious and share exchanges of joy while being in each other's arms.

The field became a perfect playground - filled with their laughter and affection. It felt like a real testament to the beautiful connection they shared.

By far the highlight of the day though was as the sun began to set, it cast an incredible glow across the landscape. The cliffs served as the perfect backdrop, with panoramic views of the horizon, powerful waves crashing below, and tidepools glowing like liquid gold.

I feel so fortunate to be able to create photos in this paradise. It truly allows me to create something special for the couples I work with. The beautiful scenery, other-worldly coasts – it matches the beauty and uniqueness of their love. The grassy fields, the rhythmic waves, and the golden sun all played their part in narrating a story that will last forever
